The lowland heaths of Hampshire are of global importance. 2020VISION highlights the Grazing for Wildlife Project, where the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust is working with the Ministry of Defence and local farmers to use cattle and ponies to manage the heathlands of North East Hampshire, and the New Forest National Park, one of the most popular destinations for outdoor recreation in the densely populated south of England.
