2020VISION captured the display of these two dramatic and declining grouse species. The capercaillie is the world's largest grouse species, and was reintroduced to Scotland from Scandinavia after being hunted to extinction. The capercaillie is restricted to native pine forests and plantations in Scotland, while the black grouse also occurs on moorland, farmland and forest fringes in Wales and the Pennines.
