In quarter April-June 2012 we supported local conservation, contributing towards the Avon Wildlife Trust's ongoing tractor appeal. The Trust looks after 35 nature reserves in the Bristol and Bath area and the management of this land for wildlife is carried out by dedicated volunteers, assisted by contractors. Avon Wildlife Trust is a member of The Wildlife Trusts, which includes 47 individual Trusts, each covering a different region of the UK and working hard to protect its wildlife and wild places, with a total of 800,000 members. Our gallery explores not only the work of the Wildlife Trusts, but UK conservation in all its aspects and a variety of other local and national organisations which are involved in reserve management, species reintroduction and education.
