Gullls have had a bad press in the summer of 2015, due to the increasing numbers breeding in towns and citties and to their perceived aggression as scavengers and reported attacks on domestic pets. Here we show the diversity of British gulls, from the urban herring and lesser black-backed gulls to the more maritime, cliff-nesting kittiwake.
