Belgian photographer Philippe Clément spends most of his time in the great outdoors. His love of nature grew out of a passion for rock climbing, and his aim is to document species within their habitats. This portfolio focuses on his European work, including landscapes, but since 1995, Philippe has travelled extensively, from the Alaskan tundra and Costa Rican cloud forests to the Kalahari and Sonoran deserts. His pictures have appeared in exhibitions, calendars, postcards, books and magazines, ranging from BBC Wildlife magazine, New Scientist and Ranger Rick, to books by National Geographic and Barnes & Noble.
