Découvrir les grandes étendues sauvages de la planète était un rêve d’enfant. En 1979, Eric BACCEGA achète son premier appareil photo et la photographie deviendra vite sa passion. En 1997, il en fera son nouveau métier. Si la vie sauvage le passionne, en particulier celle des ours, le monde des ethnies l’intéresse tout autant. Le face à face avec l’animal dans son milieu naturel est aussi passionnant que la rencontre des hommes et des femmes dont l’univers est à l’opposé du notre. Des ours polaires au Himbas de Namibie, des pandas géants de Chine aux tribus de la vallée de l’Omo en Ethiopie, du grand hamster des plaines d’Alsace en France au Nenets de Sibérie, chaque voyage est une histoire unique vécue grâce à la photographie. Tant de richesses que la Terre a à partager et qu’il est indispensable de préserver.
