Mark Carwardine's Guide to Whale Watching in North America, published by Bloomsbury in August 2017, covers all the main whale-watching locations in the USA, Canada and Mexico and includes sections on how to watch whales and a field guide to all the species to be seen in North American waters. Whale expert Mark Carwardine has been studying, conserving, photographing and taking people to see whales all over the world for more than 30 years, and has written many books on the subject. This gallery contains a selection of Mark's images used in the book, plus some provided by other NPL photographers.
