Voyageur infatigable, Pete Oxford possède un important fonds photographique comportant non seulement des images de nature (à voir dans sa galerie photo sur les animaux) mais aussi des humains, des traditions, des ethnies et des paysages. Ses portraits de personnages, particulièrement remarquables pour leur caractère unique, leur composition rigoureuse et le choix des couleurs, ont été publiés par de très nombreux éditeurs.
Pete Oxford vit en Equateur depuis 1985 et parcourt le monde avec sa femme Renée Bish, designer et écrivaine. Ses photos et ses reportages ont été publiés dans de très nombreux magazines, dont le National Geographic, GEO, Smithsonian. Parmi les livres dont il est l’auteur, on peut signaler les titres, « Ecuador, Galapagos: Untamed Isles » et « Amazon Images. »
