Writer, photographer and tour leader NICK GARBUTT has travelled widely but is especially knowledgable about Madagascar. Nick is author of a guide to the Mammals of Madgascar for which he provided the photos and artwork as well as the text. When taking photos, he concentrates not only on the charismatic and rare such as the Aye aye of Madagascar, Rafflesia of the rainforests of Borneo and the endangered kestrel of Mauritius, but also documents the reptiles, amphibians and plants of the places he visits.
