Joro spider (Nephilia clavata) female a type of golden silk orb-weaver spider common in Japan during the autumn. With the spider's chelicerae, or jaws, clearly visible. These deliver a neurotoxin similar to that of a black widow spider, but not as potent. Kanagawa, Japan.
