Smeathman's furrow bee (Lasioglossum smeathmanellum) visiting Grape hyacinth (Muscari sp.). At 4.5 mm average size, this is one of the smallest bees in the UK, small enough to crawl inside a Grape Hyacinth flower globe to feed and collect pollen. Monmouthshire Wales UK, March.
