Atlantic cod (Gadus morhua) juvenile sheltering in Eelgrass (Zostera marina) bed. Once the most caught fish in the world, the cod fishery collapsed in 1992. Juveniles use seagrass beds as a nursery, the healthier the seagrass bed, the better the fisheries are likely to be. Newfoundland, Canada. September.
