Julie Jennings, senior wildlife carer for Port Stephens Koalas, move bushfire a burnt Koala (Phascolarctos cinereus) named 'Flash' from his enclosure to allow her to clean the enclosure and check and treat Flash's burns. Flash was caught in a bushfire at Hillville near Taree (NSW) in November, 2019. He arrived to care with a burnt nose, burnt hands and feet.
