Hampstead Heath, London's Countryside with text and photographs by Matt Maran is published in June 2016 by Hemisphere Publishing. Hampstead Heath is an ancient London park situated five kilometres north of the city centre. Seven million people set foot on the Heath every year, making it one of London’s best-loved and most-visited green spaces.

Featuring more than 150 colour photographs by London-based Matthew Maran, this book takes you on a journey through the seasons, portraying the Heath’s familiar scenes and hidden treasures in a new light. The book focuses on the area’s thriving flora and fauna, including images of historic woodlands, hunting kestrels and life on the ponds, alongside information on animal behaviour, conservation and photographic techniques.
