Mark Hamblin has been working as a freelance nature photographer since 1995 having become captivated by wildlife as a teenager growing up in the Midlands. He now lives and works in the Scottish Highlands and travels both in the UK and elsewhere to take pictures; he has a particular preference for Scandinavia. Mark enjoys working on longer term projects close to home, where he feel more in tune with the seasonal rhythms of the natural world. He is active providing stock images to international agencies, and also spends time on collaborative projects including Tooth & Claw - a photo-documentary that explores our relationship with Britain's predators.
