^I was one the first of the Wild Wonders of Europe photographers commissioned - with a mission to photograph the colourful and charismatic birds in the Hungarian puszta. I was given a lengthy wishlist of birds and only two weeks - there was no way it was going to be possible to produce outstanding, unique and awe-inspiring material of so many species in such a short time. But I had luck on my side, and a young photographer, Bence M�t�, without whose help it would have been a mission impossible. As it turned out, I got some good images for the project; the European Bee-eater tossing a bumble bee in the air being one of them.
