Milan Radisics undertook several missions for Wild Wonders of Europe. He travelled to Montenegro to document whiskered terns nesting on Lake Skadar and the dramatic landscapes of Durmitor National Park. He also photographed the mass hatching of mayflies on Lake Tisza, Hungary, when within 12 hours the adult insects emerge, moult, mate and then die. Milan also travelled to Madeira for wild flowers and to Greece where he worked in Meteora and the Pindos Mountains. Closer to home he photographed wildlife and landscapes of Hortobagy National Park. Below is a selection of his images from these missions.
