Swedish wildlife photographer Magnus Lundgren was inspired as a child by the marine wildlife television programmes presented by Jacques Yves Cousteau. His work has been published worldwide including in National Geographic magazine and he has twice been successful in the Wildlife Photographer of the Year competition. Magnus is proud to be one of the 69 photographers involved in Wild Wonders of Europe - ^I am convinced that Wild Wonders of Europe (WWoE) will not only inspire a great many people by exposing the fantastic European wildlife, the project will also help to support and protect our European heritage.^



For the WWoE project, Magnus visited the seas around the Azores to photograph sperm whales and other marine life, and undertook several missions in the arctic cold
