^I feel very lucky to have been chosen as a photographer for Wild Wonders of Europe, not only because this is an amazing project, but also because I was commissioned to photograph some of the most beautiful parts of Europe. In 2008 I was sent to Iceland with such a long list of landscapes and species to photograph that I decided to stay a much longer period than I was actually commissioned for. These images have become the basis for a book on Iceland that will be published in October 2011 - the result of 10 months photography on the island.
